Welcome to the wonderful world of beer lacing! What is lacing you may ask? It's that sticky head residue left behind on your glassware after you finish a beer. There's some science behind it but you can google that on your own. I see a snow-capped mountain range on the top line of lacing, and the front end of a squirrel facing a small squirrel in the center of it all.

Chai. Not pronounced the same as “HI” It means LIFE. And bringing it back to beer, l’chaim means TO LIFE.
Well, you made me go and google this...If google AI is to be believed, the assigned numerical values of the two characters is 18 which is considered a symbol of good luck. So indeed, To LIFE and LUCK!
