Can really taste the barrel with this one! Nice vanilla and whiskey flavors swimming around in this beer, it’s quite nice. Been drinking wine the last few days so it’s nice to swap back to some beer for a change. Glad my hawks have the one seed and bye this week so I can relax and watch football without a dog in the fight.
Wouldn’t mind facing Buffalo or Jacksonville in the big one though!

 

Good morning all. I’m drinking a Lake Tahoe Aleworx Tahoe Cold IPA on this chilly Saturday. Apparently all Lake Tahoe Aleworx beers are brewed by Alibi Ale Works, which doesn’t surprise me because this exploded upon opening, just like every other Alibi beer I’ve ever purchased.
Anyway, mess is cleaned up now and the beer is tasting good.

Today will be part of local history. The Geen Bay Packers versus Chicago Bears in an NFL playoff game. The weather could not be more perfect for this legendary rivalry. This is a delicious rye whiskey barrel-aged imperial stout from Wisconsin, that has a nice spicy flavor. Chicago Bears fans, please delight in the fact that I initially put the cheesehead on this bottle, and the glass tipped over, knocking over the full glass, which I caught, but it splashed imperial stout all over my white Green Bay Packers away jersey. It is time for us to get dirty!
