Doesn't it lean clean and bitter or more modern would you say?

I just opened the 2026 Michigan thread in the Great Lakes forum with a post that has a copy-and-paste of a brewery's Facebook post that says the state has a new regulation that permits breweries to bring in guest NA beers to serve to customers. If you're in Michigan you could see NA beers at some breweries which allows you to try one(s) that's you've not had before. I didn't research this new regulation for all the details.

    Good afternoon all
Bought a six pack of this one just to scratch the occasional itch this January.

    Michelob Ultra Zero

12oz bottle Freshest Before 15JUN26 poured into a pokal glass at fridge temp 0.0% 29g carbs per label. The beer pours extremely bright, pale golden yellow with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island. No lacing. The aroma is very slight with just a hint of pale malt. The taste matches with a quick burst of pale malt wort then fades quickly to water with a hint of hop flavor and bitterness. The feel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, ok for NA. I feel like I'd be hard pressed to pick this out in a blind tasting of any number of Inbev NA beers.

I picked up a six pack today as well. I'll report back, but $7.99 is a steal for a six pack.

Some of the NA producers are offering some type of online specials for Dry January. Just ordered some NA beers from Mash Gang, Fremont, and Notch.

I had a bottle of that a few months ago when it was the only NA beer at a venue I was at and wanted to switch over from regular beer. My expectation was an extremely low bar, but it cleared that. Inoffensive NA pale lager option.

    Today's new NA beer

    Holland 1839 0.0%

11.2oz green bottle etched 12-2026 poured into a mug at fridge temp 0.0% ABV. The beer pours brilliantly bright pale gold with nearly white head. The head recedes to a splotchy ring and scattered bubbles. Minimal lacing. The aroma is mild with pale malt wort and cereal grain being predominant. The taste is semisweet cereal grain with a hint of grassy hops and mild bitterness. The feel is thin to medium bodied with just less that average carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall, more sweet, unfermented cereal grain that I prefer in an NA. Drinkable, but not something I'd buy again.

This one reminds me of the O'Douls and Sharp's that used to be the predominant NA beers. I'll drink them or use them as stock for soup. Cheers all!

I've been watching for it, but it's not here yet. Their beer finder places it in a store about 35 miles away, so maybe it will hit town here this week. I don't think I'll buy any right away because I received my shipment of two Untitled Art FLVR 12-packs today.
