    Pulled a cellar beer tonight and it held up far beyond my high expectations.

    Revolution Brewing Coconut Deth (Canned 7/13/22)

    Cellar review linked here. The 2022 draft review notes fresh nearly mirror my experience tonight. So glad, because I have several more and always have concerns with aging coconut and coffee with possible drop off. Also more enjoyable with the freezing temps this overnight vs. the 90s F Summer Temps I initially tried this on draft.

    Today is the day to commemorate and remember the Reverend and Doctor Martin Luther King Junior. Stevie Wonder released this song in 1981 in the push to make this day a National Holiday, which happened across most of these United States in 1986. This is also a day many dedicate as a Day of Service.

    Indeed. My January Cellar selections are ones I have multiple bottles/cans to also share in the Cellaruary Thread. Goal by year end is to have 1-2 cases of "drink fresh beer" and up to 1 case of cellar beers by year end, and on a go-forward basis.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for opening the bar - it must be wonderful to have access to so many Revolution brews!

    Today's "New" Breakfast Beer - One I know I had12 + years ago and didn’t like it, although I never reviewed it.

    Vanilla Porter from Breckenridge Brewery. 12 fl oz bottle from M & M Beer, Hermitage, PA. Picked up 10/01/26, on room temperature shelf at distributor. $ 2.56 (including tax) ($ 0.208/fl oz). Reviewed 19/01/26, review 3676.
    Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label art. A very easy drinking beer at an appropriate price point. The beautiful ruby color balances the lack of lacing.

    Good morning BAs! Chilly (low 40s/feels like hi 30s) walk done, home with my coffee - FW’s Anniversary Ale: XXVI (2022):

    Poured at 53.6°. Whiskey and red wine nose. Taste follows with a little oaky vanilla; some chocolate as beer warms. No coffee. A solid but not exceptional ale, imo.

    Today is our coldest day of the week forecast (upper 50s - but the wind is chilly) so I’m thinking about staying home… although Country Monday is this afternoon…Cheers and have a marvy Monday y’all!

    Happy Monday and MLK day today BAs

    Got a very cold, blustery, snowy walk in earlier with Miss Emma - think she was happier than me to get inside the warm'ish house! Temps are supposed to drop to around 10 later this afternoon, and even lower overnight - yikes! 8 weeks til spring!

    I may go look at yet another cool sailboat - this one is in the Pittsburgh area - so travels will have to wait until it gets a bit warmer...

    Called a "Paper Jet 14" - a winged craft that likely flies!!

    Great great beer, 3F is my preference to the very few Cantillon I could try which is probably a controversial/unpopular beer opinion.
