What beer are you drinking now? #4846

Drinking a 3 Ravens oatmeal stout on this warm summer’s evening. A great pour which further cements stouts as my favourite style of beer.

109?! Holy hell! We’re in week three of sub-freezing temps. I’d take some of that heat right about now.

Full New Beer Sunday #1092 take, and overall thoughts on the Werk Force Sleeping Bear series linked here. Overall WBAYDN summary, this has been an enjoyable weekend with the Sleepy Beer series. This cuvee best suited to my tastes, but the Death By Chocolate variant was also great. Werk Force is a solid brewery and I recommend to those who can make it to Plainfield and or their beers via distribution.

 

Wow! I lived about 30 miles from Sydney and there were not that many days where it exceeded 100°F.
109 sounds more like Northern Territory temps.

 

G'day all!

We have 4 lonely degrees Fahrenheit here in Casper right now so I decided to pop the cap on this Imperial Stout that I got from Good Times Oakland. Wow, just wow! I'm talking(lol!) a special IS here.14 Bourbon casks used, aged 22 months, 14% abv. Imho, it belongs in the neighborhood of elite Imperial Stouts. I hope you all get a chance to find this gem from Breakside out of Portland Oregon.

Happy Sunday BA's! I hope all BA's in winter storm Fern's path are safe and warm, with power on. It appears that our oldest daughter that lives in Baltimore may be in the freezing rain/sleet/snow path. The relatives in NH/MA are seasoned winter veterans (my wife describes living thru the blizzard of 78 every time a storm hits up there, she moved to FL in Aug 1978 and hates going back in the winter). NB VooDoo Juicy Haze after a fun 30 mile bike ride.

 

Getting some chili going and sipping a cuvée of leftover Wolf from last night and Hubbard’s Cave Hazelnut Coffee & Cakes —An Imperial Stout with coffee, maple syrup and hazelnut. Have a great Sunday, BA, everyone stay safe out there!
