Not sure how many people caught this, as I believe it was unadvertised drop day of. But I happened to see it when picking up our cold brew cans and grabbed some for my neighbor. May hold onto a can. I’m seeing a bunch of patriots themed beers come out this week elsewhere too.

The more surprising thing is again how quickly their coffee has been flying off shelves. Was pleased to see Darkside back in the rotation. And timing was just right as I had been going through my old kids stuff helping my parents after my dad’s spine surgery. Was a perfect excuse to play with my original 80’s collection.

I had all 4 of the brewer vs brewer IPAs tonight. That was fun. Apparently only 2 images per post. So here’s 1 and 2..

Interesting (to me, at least) how Tree House hazies tend towards being orange in color rather than the yellow color that is all the rage with most of the elite hazy brewers these days.

That does seem to be the "trademark" color for Tree House Hazy IPAs but not always. I have had a good number of them that have a light yellow, straw-like color.

Has anyone gotten to try curiosity 158 yet? Driving to Vermont right now and going to pass Deerfield on my way. Any standouts I should be picking up tonight? Thanks in advance

    Also, nice time to go.
    Not all crowded, warm…

am I wrong, didn’t they used to have pizza by the slice? A whole pizza was too much

I think they just started doing this in Charlton. I always thought it was weird they won't sell by the slice but I'm sure there's a logistical reason for it.

Like I'd buy a slice every time I have visited but not once have I bought a whole pizza.

I am sure I used to be able to buy slices. instead I had their pizza knots, which were heavily oily and probably sucked up the alcohol

I didn’t remember to post this yesterday, but I tried all 4 Imperial Stouts at Saratoga yesterday and decided to have a glass of Fudge. Intense flavor of dark chocolate ice cream

Drinking A Winter’s Respite now. This beer was very expensive ($23 for 12oz), but would for sure cost $50 at a lot of other breweries. This is one of the most complex beers I’ve ever had

Loved it. TH barrel program is hit or miss for me, but the barleywines are almost universally unbelievable. Idk if it’s being Tree House or just missing the peak of the barrel aged hype, but it’s funny that they make something that’s arguably under the radar in terms of just how good it is.

They’re getting recognition on here recently. Their “Flagship” Tree of Life is better than or as good as all the tier-1 barleywines being produced.

Their barrel aged stouts are more varied for me. Truth is good but not exactly what I go for in the style. However, Double-Double Flip was one of the best BA stouts I’ve ever had.
