ISIL cross-post. This is delicious breakfast treat. It is like a candy bar in a glass. Today is going to be a celebration. I am going to meet up with @Mdog to do some special @cavedave NBW beer reviews, then I will attend the Central Waters Brewing 28th anniversary party. That will involve staying in a hotel room and taking the free bus rides the brewery is providing. I will have a lot of posts today, which will likely become increasingly strange or even completely nonsensical. It is going to be quite an adventure.

 

@GreenBayBA Sounds magical. Also, beer photos in short sleeves and shorts in true Wisconsin winter form.

I'm sipping on a local, Mountain Hops Brewhouse Hawaiian King. Notes from the brewer:

Delicious blonde that was blessed by the king of Hawaii himself, King Louie XI. with passionfruit, orange and guava and some hemp terpenes to top it all off. Taking your straight to the islands.

My monthly paycheck came in a little early the other day so I was able to go and get some groceries and beer. Picked up this Belgian Double, as far as Belgian beer goes this is on the lower end for me (only because they might have my favorite beers of all time) but is still a solid 3.8/5 or so, nice rich carmelized plum flavors here.
Also went out to eat a local Columbian restaurant here in Madrid last night and had some absolutely delicious traditional food. The arepas covered in beans hot sauce and avocado were sublime.

Pic related, the beer was something local to Spain not sure what, but nice enough.

It's not quite as much as some of you all get (thank goodness) but it's white and powdery. We may get an inch or two but we can drrive around okay on it. 20°F on my thermometer. I'm ready for summer now.
