Middle Tennessee took an absolute walloping from Fern; I hope you guys around STL escaped the worst of it. Somehow we've been just about the only house on our block with power for the past 4 days. Still over 100k folks without service according to the outage map. We’re sheltering a couple friends who are in the powerless contingent -- so we did a recon mission back to their house yesterday and it's 28° in their living room. Wild times.
Really hoping they take advantage of the opportunity to give us something different, especially with Ambiente having just dropped and being a similar beer.
Since b2 is getting released soon I figured I would give this a try and let me tell you: this rocks. The banana is so subtle I would maybe not even guess it part of the equation had I not known what went into this. Lots of peanut aromas and flavors with some chocolate. The banana kind of ties it all together. Really well done. Cheers!!

I’m not sure about everyone else but I thought this one was an absolute banger. Big barrel but not overwhelming with awesome mouthfeel. Absolutely shocked it’s still available online, albeit in a small package.

Still about a quarter of town without power, but the NES estimates say my friends staying with us *should* get theirs back around … Thursday. Woof. Even with all the floods, tornadoes and other ice storms we’ve had over the years, I’ve never seen anything else quite this intense. This reel from a couple miles away makes one of our major arteries through Forest Hills look like a dirt logging road or something lol On a lighter note! I’m embarrassed as a Tennessean I just figured out the Marble Lions name peanut butter + banana = Elvis sandwich (usually bacon and/or honey too, but close enough) Elvis = Graceland Graceland = the two big marble lions out front

Something very dry on the end that was off-putting to me. I expected more from two heavy weights in the industry having their stouts marry one another. Still gave it a 4.5 on UT because it was still good. No need for me to revisit it, though.
