1) Other Half IACed in Space (8.5% canned 12/14/25 ): A NEIPA from NY with Citra and Galaxy for flavors of lemon/lime, pineapple, passionfruit, and mango
versus
2) Other Half Superdelic Green Nuggets (8.5% 12/17/25): A NEIPA from NY with Superdelic and Cascade for flavors of orange citrus, mandarin orange, pineapple, with a balance of mango, melon, berries. Balanced and rounded. (Mismatched the two blind)

Happy Wednesday and why not an Other Half IPA Battle. I said I had a good beer haul yesterday and so let's f***ing go.
First lACed in Space. Citra and Galaxy. Nice lemon/lime, pineapple notes. Some mango as well. Comes together nicely and enjoyable green citrus and tropical flavors. Outstanding.
Next is Superdelic Green Nuggets. This has a nice balance of orange, pineapple, mango, melon, and berries. Nothing stands out but they all blend together in a nice rounded fashion. Excellent IPA as well.
First impression is both are great, but I don't think I could pick the hops out from the Superdelic and it's not memorable. lACed in Space has a distinct and memorable hop flavor, which I didn't expect from only Citra and Galaxy here.
Winner: Other Half lACed in Space

Marshmallow evident on head, S'mores notes on nose. Flavor leans more to base. My third favorite with Mexican Chocolate to follow.

 

Belleflower - Magpie

Brought this with me from Portland, ME. Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty solid Hazy Pale Ale, but just like cowbell, I just need more bitterness.

 

Revolution Anti-Hero (6.7% canned 12/1/2025): An American IPA from Chicago with flavors of grapefruit, orange marmalade, resinous stonefruit, and bitter pine.

A-list WCIPA. I had no idea Revolution would make such a great flagship IPA. Near Logan Square, and right off of the Blue Line, definitely an easy stop there if traveling in from O'Hare.
