Real Ale Brewhouse Brown Ale in the glass...

More Joe Farrell, thanks to @beergoot again (sorry to keep tagging you ha) for getting me on the Farrell hype train this evening. Not sure if you heard this (but assuming you do know this one)...another great album he did Moon Germs. With Jack DeJohnette, Herbie Hancock, and Stan Clark. He always played with an amazing band...especially on these great CTI albums :astonished::sunglasses:

You make really good points. So the story goes that McCartney was in a band before he joined Wings.

Oh really...I might need to look that up . Or just make a pile in my living room of them all...like I usually do with most the music I listen to ha...until I clean everything up and move on to the next band/artist ha.

The biggest, baddest IPA in the box is Sierra Nevada’s Atomic Torpedo Imperial IPA, a 9.2% ABV, eye blearing, head fuzzing slugger of an IPA. If you like booze, here’s your brew!

Truth is, I’m a fan of lower ABV IPAs. Seems like there’s been an alcoholic arms race lately, seeing who can produce the highest ABV IPA. A lot of these IPAs are enhanced a bit with adjuncts like dextrose (corn sugar) during brewing – this increases the beer wort original gravity a few points without changing the basic characteristics of the beer. It’s still an IPA, still tasty with whatever hops that are selected, just a whole lot more alcohol produced due to the additional sugars giving the yeast more to munch on.

I prefer tasty CHUGGABLE brews, like an IPA around 6 ABV. You get all the flavor without the hot alcohol notes of some IPAs (not this one which is rather smooth). A lot of times a little residual sweetness from non-fermentable sugars will offset the booze a bit. Nevertheless, I prefer to relax with a more docile IPA and leave the big ones for Saturday Night when I feel like Fighting!

Hops not disclosed on this one, so it could be darned near anything. Probably a lot of the “C” hops and some Simcoe, but who the heck knows. A tasty brew though, look this one up the next time you’re celebrating her leaving or coming back (your pick!) Valentine’s Day is near! A good one to get loaded up on! Cheers!

I wasn’t a big Beatle fan but did like a lot of their music especially the Sgt Peppers album.

I'm a huge Beatles fan, but I can see how, especially with their early stuff, some people might be like...wait this is it? Though their stuff after they stopped doing live shows, never fails to amaze me.

I've been hard-core binging Wilson Jr this past week; I'd heard one or two tunes that were way more country but as soon as I heard his remake of Stand by Me, I was .... hooked. Genius. Amazing guitar player, too, and love that he plays a beat up classic guitar on his live sets.
