    Enjoying my first 2026 Bigfoot. Caramelly, citrusy, pine resin, and smooth. I would say it is hoppier than the average fresh Bigfoot. Will be contrasting a 2019 Bigfoot with the next round.

    Getting into the 2019 Bigfoot and it is definitely less aggressive hop wise as the caramel malts are more prominent giving me a dark fruit flavor to go with the citrus theme. Mind you, the hops are still there and balance this bigger beer nicely.
    Listening to some Foo Fighters on the Sirius Lithium channel.

    Pours out a clear, amber-orange color; dense, slow-rising carbonation; thick, frothy, sticky head, long-lasting. Muted pine resin and spicy smell. Decent taste yet a bit thin; uniform yet dull malt base sweetness; hop spiciness and bitterness carries the weight of the flavor; low-key caramel note; a daub of citrus-like esters. Medium bodies; crisp with a sharp prickliness; an edge of dryness.

    Perhaps if I sampled this beer at a slightly warmer pouring temperature; I would have better appreciated this beer. Still, as it is, it ain't bad, just a bit mundane considering the brewery and its generally phenomenal beers across a wide ranging style portfolio that they tend to do quite well.
