Made coin at a local joint tonite. 2 hrs of fun and some short notice road closures made my night remarkably reactive. I was impressed by the love that the Eagles Club #33 poured out. Est 1899. Good peoples.

Just a quick post before I slip off into Noir Alley:



Quelque Chose from Unibroue. 16.94 fl oz cork & cage bottle from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Picked up prior to 2014 because it was stored in our breezeway, prior to converting the breezeway to a sewing room in 2014. On room temperature shelf at distributor, stored at 40 F at home for the last 11+ years. Reviewed 08/02/26, review 3688. The cork pulled fairly easily by hand, no decorker needed, with the as-expected non-POP.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label art, but the gold on brown makes for an attractive bottle, although it was difficult to phocus for the photo. I do enjoy a good cherry Glühwein – this is almost the starting point for one. Too bad the cinnamon didn’t come through. I did, however, enjoy the hot version more than the cold.

Happy Sunday BA's! It's a beautiful sunny, 60 degree morning in Ocala. The wife is prepping food for the super bowl party and I'm on cleaning duty with a Hopslam.

 

Having an early SN Springfest IPA.



Despite the fact that it's 14 degrees out with a real feel of 7 degrees, I'm seeing melting going on in the driveway. I just scraped it down a bit to help speed up the melting process. Those are deer tracks all over the front yard - they love to come by late at night and chew on my bushes.

 

Still watching Winter Olympics, now with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo.
