Holy hell! This is even worse than I expected.

 

Today, though it's a tad cold, it's remarkably beautiful outside, out here in McGregor--and it's such a blessing simply to be alive. Both cats Gracie and Sundae, though something must have been in the water, because they were scrapping all morning, were excited to see what new beers I would check out this day: First, with Sundae, it's my fourteenth brew from Hamilton, Ontario's Grain & Grit Beer Co.--their 4.6% Sweater Weather Oatmeal Stout w/Coconut...

Second, with Gracie, my seventeenth beer from Burlington, Ontario's Nickel Brook Brewing Co.--the 6.3% Uncle Goose West Coast-Style IPA, from their Small Batch series...

Tomorrow: Three more new beer explorations, from the following breweries:
--Lightcaster Brewery (Oshawa, Ontario; my tenth of their handiworks);
--Rose City Beer Works (nearby downtown Windsor, Ontario; my twenty-first); and
--Silversmith Brewing Company (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario; my seventh)...

Did some unusual early morning shopping, in lieu of my usual morning hike with Emma - will do that later, after it warms up a bit....

Picked this up at Whole Foods - pretty nice RIS, with coffee and vanilla - from Madtree in Cincy....also picked up some flowers and chocolates for upcoming Valentines Day Saturday.....whoohoo!

Good morning all. Painfully boring morning filled with computer work, luckily this Blue Moon Mango Wheat is super refreshing. The only thing to not like about this brew is the pricing. Definitely too high for a macro at $13 per six pack.

Over at our condo for the first time in a while, air-conditioning issues. the vegetation in the background here is supposed to be a verdant green, the hard freeze obviously froze all the way to the surf.
