Chimay Grand Reserve Blue strong dark Belgian ale

 

Well hell BA's, Erin Jackson from Ocala, the 2022 Olympic gold medalist in the 500M speed skating just finished 5th in Italy. She's an amazing young lady(33) double BA degree from UF and went from inline skating to ice in record time. Her uncle Mike, that was sitting next to Snoop, is our mailman and her 1st cousin Mike worked for me at Lockheed, sometimes living in a small town is really cool....Coors. Oh, she went to Howard middle school with our daughter too.

Damn! that 1st beer was good. Pert near as good as this Luce Line Euro Step German Pils. Totally got fresh embalming fluid beers on my last run.

No booze for me...wet today ha. But watching and yelling at the TV, my Fighting Illini taking on @jzeilinger Hoosiers. One of the best rivalries in college basketball IMO. Probably off to Saint Arnold after the game...will be back then

Right! Thanks to my sweetie, finally getting around to cookin' those Maryland crab cakes, fresh lemon, salad and a Summit Oatmeal Stout. This brew is lighter in body and has a lovely taste. I wanted a dark beer with this food that I didn't need to review. >>> But before all this: another Double Elbow/Forager Edel-Pils. A crusher. Cheers!

 

Late lunch, egg dish with bacon and toast, with a Hopslam. Just saw the Thunderbirds fly over Daytona speedway, great afternoon there, rain about 1900, s/b done by then.
