1) Spyglass Spatial Proximity (8.0% canned 11/25/25): A NEIPA from New Hampshire with Mosaic, Motueka, Citra, and Idaho Gem for flavors of orange, pineapple, smooth peach and mango.
versus
2) Spyglass Turbulent Flow (8.3% canned 12/4/2025): A NEIPA from New Hampshire with Citra and Rakau for flavors of orange, pineapple, smooth peach, and mango. (Mismatched the two blind)

Spyglass IPA Battle and repeating this one because the first was so good. @SawDog505 got me onto this brewery, putting out some great haze. First Spatial Proximity. Incredibly smooth peach, plus some pineapple and mango flavors here.
Next is Turbulent Flow. Very similar, but slightly more earthy green mango skins. Both are fantastic, and even more similar than I remember. Last time I picked Turbulent Flow, but this time the drinkability of Spatial Proximity is better.
Winner: Spyglass Spatial Proximity

My son grabbed a couple of these for me over New Years while vacationing on Sint Maarten. Finally able to hand the over. Cheers!

Sexy Boy ~ Air

 

Revolution Anti-Hero (6.7% canned 12/1/2025): An American IPA from Chicago with flavors of grapefruit, orange marmalade, resinous stonefruit, and bitter pine.

Bitter, resinous, All-American. I think this is somehow better than the one I had yesterday canned 1/12/26. Cheers.

 

Just finished clearing the driveway - what a pain in the ass. The snow pile from the plow was over 3 feet high and packed solid - this was not a fluffy, light snow. Could have been worse - Warwick RI got 36+ inches of snow. Making dinner now and having a double sunshine and trying to relax.

 

Home for the evening. NH barely got touched by the storm. Cheers all.

Events of the past couple of days makes me glad I trust my instincts. My travel agent recommended I go to Puerto Valletta on my vacation next week. So glad I decided against it.

Nickel Brook Paddle Battle West Coast-Style Pilsner

A solid take on the style; the West Coast hopping makes this a little more compelling than your average pils. Nickel Brook definitely speaks my beer language when it comes to the styles they brew.

Sky Puppy Brewing (Ybor City) Curiously Civilized WCIPA, it's a great beer. It may not be piney or resinous enough for some but I really enjoy it!
