Shorts Locals Light. Not a lot of complex flavor but I got bogged down by all the intense flavors of ipas and stouts. just really refreshing!

it is much less hazy and more of a bitter hop bite to it that was welcome. A higher ABV as well and you can tell. The version now has a much softer mouthfeel. I picked mine up in Maine while up there last week, hopefully they make it down our way. I like both versions but would never had been able to be like this tastes like Substance used to if tasting blind

 

Scott, that's great. Sorry I missed you last night (showed up later), but I'll take notes while we're there this summer that might be helpful (places, restos, bars/beer) and share afterwards... cheers!

 

Back home with a Jai Alai. Sun's down so the temp is dropping to bout 30 for 1 more night. Looking forward the the 58 to 82 degree temps for the next 10 days.

 

Tasting this for the first time. It seemingly steers clear of the hint/vibe (prob house yeast) you get from most things SN. Pretty solid, two cans are a must!
