Thanks for asking Dave - things here are good - a lot of work cleaning this stuff up, we had about 18 inches of the stuff. Hardest part of the cleanup is getting through the pile of snow at the end of the driveway that the plow leaves. It was at least 6 feet wide and over 3 feet tall. The initial breach is the hardest, after you break through it it's easier. That stuff is always packed solid and contains chunks of ice from previous storms. Every time I've ever broken a shear pin, it's when I'm trying to get through the plow crap. Cheers!!!

Tonight I’m getting my IPA freak on with a couple Celebration Fresh Hop IPAs from Sierra Nevada. I just love when beers say “Limited” or “Limited Release” on them. Hey, what’s that mean? One batch? Test batch? What are we, marketing and beer drinking Guinea Pigs? We want this brew ALL THE TIME!

Celebration uses “Fresh Hops.” I’m still trying to unwind that one. Most all large batch produced beers use fresh cone hops for bittering, flavor and aroma, so go figure. Maybe they mean a big dry-hopping with cone, fresh hops. It’s a mystery alright! Gotta love those marketing guys!

Celebration is a delicious 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale, and one of about 6-8 rotating IPA varieties constantly being released. Tonight’s 2-can hoppy feast qualifies for dragging out the old trusty Beermeister32 Chugmaster 750, 28.5 ounce capacity drinking glass! Hats off to Sierra Nevada, if you are looking for more than their huge and ever changing Torpedo line, they keep flinging these newbies at us. Toss the dog a bone! That’s what I call being DIALED IN !!!!

Wow, I never thought about the snow plow berms. I saw a video this morning where a guy had just finished opening his driveway, then a snow plow rolls by leaving a nice berm of snow. Couldn't help but chuckle. Stay warm brother!

Yeah Larry that plow line if not cleaned up quickly turns into concrete if it stays cold the next day .

Not an IPA. Have no idea what it is. Smells a little skunky like a Corona.

    Cheers, all.

One of my first craft beers from TX, when I was briefly based in Houston. I recall liking it quite a bit. Cheers.
