First go with New Trail Rambler, a big NEDIPA at 8.9%. First sips are very good!

 

Fun afternoon at the monthly beer share at the pub…a handful of regulars, and 4 new people…always, good beers and good times…

Wegmans carries this Hofbräu Original and that's great, I like it! But within the past year they've added 2 other similar HB beers,
Hofbräuhaus Helles Lager and
Hofbräuhaus Traunstein Helles.
And, while for some reason increasing their HB helles offerings from 1 to 3, they've also stopped stocking Ayinger Celebrator, the world class, North Star benchmark example of German dopplebock. Couple that with the closings of both AJ's Beer Warehouse and Beers Of The World within one year and now all of a sudden Celebrator is very difficult for me to find locally...this is not good.
Anyway let's go Sabres. There's no score after 1.

This 2nd one is greater than the 1st. Outstanding brew. Love it

 

Normally no, but a few weeks ago there was a huge drop, where even Total Wine got a few cases. I bought a case initially, and gave everyone else a shot, but after two weeks I went back to the first store and they still had a bunch, so I bought another case. I will be checking the store again this week, and will definitely be buying more if they have them. Can dates are 02/18/2026, so it is relatively fresh. We will probably never ever get another drop, so I have to make sure I’m drink good beer! Cheers!
