Revisiting this one that I enjoyed this morning.

This is a cellar pull. Dated 2012 on the bottle. I loved this beer back then and I love it now. This is called a black ale aged on oak. It’s silky but a bit thinner than initial sip. Huge black licorice and wood. Has a good amount of roast stout notes. No idea what this really is but I would call it a stout. I see there are can floating around that call this a barrel aged quad. There is nothing quad or BA about this beer. Possibly it changed what it was as it was re made on cans. Would love to get a can and see for myself. Can’t say I hav seen any beer from Uinta in 10 years. This pairs well with my pissy mood and aged cows milk cheddar I’m eating.

This was a great show with four Philly legendary bands. Ruin was the headliner.

Terrible pic but it’s a 2022 Heavy Maple from Eli Fish. Sort of aggravates because this is a crowler fill, not the 4x16oz cans I called about and they said they had. I’m 45 minutes away, so they’re not exactly close for a $16 32 oz crowler instead of $20 for 64 oz, plus truck gas. First world problems.

 

I used to enjoy the Uinta barleywine. No distro here in ages.

 

Nice looking pie. Cheesey! Cheese is the best. All cheese. Any cheese.
