I was under the impression that this was a new release and was telling a buddy about it yesterday, but I noticed that it was added here on BA in April '22. Was it originally released 4 years ago and then shelved until now?

    And now this...

First brewed by our founder Ken Grossman for an overseas culinary event in 1994, this beer was a gift meant for pairing with food. Later, it won a gold medal, and now, we share the beer with you. An English-style IPA, this India Pale Ale is floral, earthy, and spicy—a departure from the aggressive hop bombs of today. With a biscuity malt backbone and nuanced flavor, it’s a sophisticated beer for an appreciative palate.

Sometimes I'm glad the don't ship to NJ, I'd lose a lot of money.

    I hear you!

I just posted in a thread about my desires to purchase a sixpack of Utica Club beer at my local Retail Beer Distributor. I haven't purchased it yet but....

Needless to say but Utica Club is waaay cheaper than Sierra Nevada IPA. I went to the Sierra Nevada website and this beer is priced at 30 bucks (for a sixpack!?! :astonished:).

    Cheers!

For two six packs, 12 12oz cans listed on top of page.

Well, needless to say 15 bucks for a sixpack is 'better' but more than I would pay for it.

I can get a sixpack of Fat Heads Head Hunter IPA at my local supermarket for less than that. A 12-pack for around 20 bucks.

    Cheers!

Yes it was released back then under a different label. Might have only been a DTC and/or brewery only release.

I've only ever had this on tap at the Chico taproom. I thought it was very good, and was sad SN didn't bottle it. Interesting that they're calling it an English style ipa. I thought it entirely too floral for that. Either way, I thought it a very well made, easy to enjoy ipa.

I do not see the Spring Bock in the online store. Maybe that is not in the plan this year or am I early looking for it there?

I think it's too early yet. There's an entry on the online shop but not yet in stock I'm guessing. Looks like last year's release was closer to May based on their social media fwiw.

Also, looks like a new label this year possibly.
