...Best Day Brewing's 'Kölsch' is, in my opinion, one of the better NA beers out there...

I could use a hot blonde today. This will have to do with something extra to celebrate the holiday.

    Happy St Patrick's Day BAs

Since i have Irish ancestors, I will be consuming all sorts of Irish "things" today - including this tasty Murphy's stout, and a wee dram of a delightful Irish Single Malt my sweet daughter brought home from their 10 day trip to Ireland last fall.....amazing! Also am making some potato soup for lunch, with fresh baked Irish soda bread...later, I will do some red potatoes and cabbage and some vegan "bangers"...

    Cheers!

I am Scotch Irish, so maybe I should also have some Scotch today. Should I tempt myself with a good time?
    Time for this beer.

Good morning BAs! Chores then a long walk this windy chilly morning (45° feels like 35°)…prepping breakfast with a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout:

With all the gusty wind from the north today, we should see highs in the low 60s, the feels like will be low 50s. Otherwise a beautiful sunny day to hit an Irish pub or two and party - Happy St. Patrick’s Day y’all!

Almost spring and it certainly feels like it today with a totally sunny, clear sky and temps in the lower 70F. Very nice overall.

Happy St Patrick’s Day. Sadly don’t have a Murphy, O’Hara’s, Guinness in hands at the moment but 3 Monts and a thought to Eìre and its heritage will do.

Drinking this at cellar temperature. Pretty nice.

I don't have any Irish beer, so Scottish will have to do.:+1:

Happy St. Paddy's Day to all!! So, I've been to Ireland 13 times, which is 12 times to many, and 1/2 the time on a work visa. Had to get some light beer today. Holy peg board I haven't had this in a long time: Grain Belt Premium
Fixin' to make some micheladas if not later today then tmrw for sure. Cheers!!:beers::beers:

**Side note: Today I made an employee at Total Wine laugh so hard that they started crying. All Irish music over the store's speakers and the song was "Linger" by The Cranberries. So I started singing the chorus and changed the line to: Did you have to smell yer finger.

Since there’s no St Patrick’s Day thread figured I would post in here today. Sipping on some nice Irish whiskey while I pound some Guinness Extra Stout, the beer that helped seal my interest and love for stouts and beer in general.

Haven’t had this in a while, probably since a St Patrick’s day a few years back. Smells real nice and full with roasty charred malts, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and espresso notes. Tastes pretty roasty, charred, dark and nice with some chocolatey and slight licorice notes, with a bit of a dark fruity note almost reminiscent of a dark berry or grape bubblegum. Might have my next bottle at room temp and see if it’s any different. Still a pretty good pounder for an Irish dry stout style and certainly not as light or mild tasting as the Draught version is. Next time I might grab some Foreign Extra Stout again to refresh my memory and palate on that. Cheers everyone!
