Don't limit my crankiness to just beer bruh!

Now, remove thyself from my grassy expanse with due haste!

Agreed. Plus there's the body/drink ability/texture aspects. A 60 degree Stout is not an enjoyable drink from those angles.

Ever tried one? 60°F is probably a lot colder than you think.

And I'm the guy that used to drink 45° Sierra Nevada Porter while helping my dad with yard work in June.

Imagine us both being part of the human race!

And no, not offended by your choices, just curious.

I kinda love that lol better to burn out than to fade away.

Last night I had a West Coast style IPA (from Buffalo, NY) and it actually got a little better tasting after sitting out for a while. I know there's merit to it. I'm convinced that's how it works in a physical sense - it's just not really what my body/soul responds to.

Give it time. If you like the flavor of beer you might just be surprised.

God no! They're too thick, sticky and hard to swallow at 45. The body just becomes too Nyquil-ish as the get warmer than that.

More like 10-40. Had a couple that were closer to 20-50. Not enjoyable.

Man, I've never had a problem necking down a Stout at 45 or warmer. Must be a hereditary thing.

You know, Guinness makes one just for you.

I enjoy my beer cold or a bit above room temperature. If I am drinking a beer because I am thirsty I would prefer a cold beer. If it is what I would call a sipper for me the warmer it gets the more I can enjoy the flavor and nuances of the beer. It's a totally different experience. At least for me.

Yeah, I prefer lagers and similar yellow beers to be cold. Belgians (just about any style) and darker beers (but not dark lagers) taste better to me as they warm up.

Room temperature is generally anywhere from 65-72 degrees. A 70 degree stout does not sound enjoyable. folks wouldn't even really need to refrigerate their beers, just keep 'em on a shelf until you want it, and it's already at room temp and ready to go.
