Happy Monday BAs. Thanks @Shanex for keying the VB. Turned in early last night, heard one of our cats doing something a few min ago...letting me know 3 large deer were in the back chomping on everything. They look healthy! Might as well enjoy a can of Schmidt which certainly hits the spot. Cheers! and I'll return a bit later today for sure.

Haven’t watched anything, but may try to catch the NIT Wednesday, as Illinois State is following up on their Division 1AA Football Championship Game OT loss with an Elite Eight NIT matchup against Dayton, the clear NIT favorite at this stage. Big 5 stalwart Saint Joe’s with a nice comeback at Cal Berkeley last night.

On & On: Part 3 from Revolution Brewing. 16 fl oz can, purchased 03/03/26 from Half Time, received 05/03/26. $ 20.24 (Including tax and shipping)/$ 1.265/fl oz). Stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 23/03/26, review 3713.
Final impression and summation: 4.5 (After adding 0.25 point for credited label art) Cudos to Revolution - TWICE-CREDITED label art, both on the signed label and as a separate credit line! Matt Gordon Dali-esque surreal label. More bourbon than some highly advertised over-priced BBA stouts (Looking at you BCBS)! Not particularly easy drinking initially, but, as it warms, definitely worth the initial pain!

That's a great beer from a few years ago that I hope returns. I didn't like it initially, but by the second/third can I loved it. Surprised they are still available (mine are canned January 5, 2024) but refrigerated they have held up very well over time. Don't want to run out, so saving my last two as long as I can.

Nice you credit their artist, I try to in my reviews as well.

 

Both my son and wife have some artistic talents (I can't draw stick figures!) - vacations often include art museums as well as paleontological-based interests - so I naturally look at who has created the label - I suspect that most are AI "created".
As I've mentioned before, whenever I can find a Revolution Brewing stout/barleywine, I snap them up!

 

I remember the "X-Man". He had a brief stint in Europe (Iraklis Thessaloniki), where he managed to punch a couple of teammates and some coaching staff within a week of getting there. Good times.

Crazy ass early sprng weather - sunny and 70s - shorts and t-shirt bike ride for me yesterday - 30s and snow flurries today - bleah!

It is still stout weather, bitches!

 

I love the mineral taste from that brew. 'Tis the squares!

 

Ex-wyfe is a Taurus. Brasilian. You'd need an entire fire brigade to deal with that one.

I am never quite sure if I am considered a Pisces or Aquarian - I was born at like 11:40 pm on the 18th of Feb - Pisces dates typically run from Feb 19 - to March 20....my daughters birthday is March 30 - so she is an Aries (3/21 - 4/19).....both Aquarius and Pisces are water signs, and I love the water, so......yeah! Cheers!
