Good day BAs! Kudos to @Beersnake for opening the bar from the west coast! My grandson's Ball python juvenile died a couple of days ago - I had suggested that they not get one at the start of winter - there's enough problems raising young snakes without beginning in a PA winter with a five-year old kid handling the snake. This year I have to rehome my snapping turtles - I want to find good homes for them before I beam out and my son has to deal with them.

Speaking of dealing with something, here's today's New Breakfast Beer:



Vanilla Skyline from Hubbard’s Cave. 16 fl oz can, purchased 03/03/26 from Half Time, received 05/03/26. $16.24 (Including tax and shipping)/$1.015/fl oz). Stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 24/03/26, review 3714.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated can) Not much to say – one and forever done.
Rating 3.58, rDev -9.6%

 

Time for my biannual teeth cleaning, one of my least favorite activities.

Is it Tin Can Tuesday or Tall Boy Tuesday...or is that for Thursday?? Ha! No matter. Mr. Sun is trying hard to bash thru, and it's chilly, but my desire to be outdoors is LAAAAAARRRRGE @TheIPAHunter so a beer is rqr'd for my glow plug.
Except for BA//yonder VB I've no need to deal with anyone today. Beer reviews are needed esp after a stork named Edgar dropped of a beautiful beer bundle from @beergoot Hmmm. Let's see about that lil' stübenzinskie...

Today, it's still wintry, out here in McGregor--but both Gracie and Sundae are pleased to help me investigate the day's new libations...second experiences with fine brews I've previously had, and a celebration of fine Torontonian breweries: First, with Gracie, from Rainhard Brewing Co.--their 6% Cold IPA...

Rated this a few days ago so time to scrawl out a solid simple review.
Victory Dirtwolf DIPA 8.7%
I had a notion when I joined up here that Imp IPA was for for IPAs 10% ABV and above but I guess it's all the same. Like, Old Hwy 12 is the same as Interstate 394 type of a deal. Whata I know? I'm just a lil' BA with 6315 points in 5 yrs. (eyebrows going up & down...)
It's nice to have a catty, dank, hop frwd clean-tasting brew with late-emerging malts on this fine day. The water in VDW is kind of soft which gives it a free-flowing drinkability for such a little powerhouse of a beer. Very handy out! and truly well-liked by BA raters & reviewers.
