Adding Canadian Provinces to profiles/stats?

I would be all for breaking Canadian beers down by province, similarly to how the US is handled.

 

Let's start a thread about Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia, and how we should get those 54 counties back.

 

I’m missing Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Not that it would count as something other than Newfoundland, I had my first beer from the only brewery in Labrador a few months ago too!

I like the idea. With the changes to laws regarding interprovincial beer sales and shipping, I might take the (expensive) plunge to order beers from the Nunavut brewery if they ever offer.

 

There might be more interest from Canadians if it were cross posted to the Canada forum. I support the proposal.

 

The rarity of breweries in some of the provinces/ territories might juice up some trading activity. This could be a benefit overall.

I went to Yellowknife for a couple days last year to check off NWT, and it was a lovely trip. There’s some interesting history there, and of course the territory is beautiful. I’m hoping to eventually make it to Iqaluit (2 flights a day from Ottawa!), but that’ll have to be a more planned-out trip.

I’d love to go. The dad of one of my son’s friends is an arctic researcher who spends months at a time on Baffin Island. It sounds like such an amazing place to see.

There is actually a brewery in Toronto called Red Tape. The wife in the couple who own the brewery is from Nunavut. They have made a saison with some plants she foraged when she goes back to visit family. It’s the closest I’ve gotten to a ‘Nunavut’ beer.
