If I'm drinking something "special" for Easter, it's most likely a Maibock.

    'Tis the season! :beers:

Paas Beer from the Bull & Bush. It's a sacc saison brewed with honey that they release for Easter most years. Occasionally they'll toss an older vintage on tap instead. In at least one case, a vintage that was nearly a decade old. You'd never guess that by the taste, either. Anyway, that's always my Easter fave.

Always loved the Bull & Bush. One of the many things I miss about Denver. Stopped in last Memorial Day when we were in town. Now my wife loves it too.

Last year Hofbrauhaus Cleveland had their maibock on for their Easter brunch. Was very happy to see it on, to say the least, but Easter was April 20 last year. Crossing my fingers that it'll be on this year, but not holding my breath as it's 15 days earlier.

Never had a go to Easter beer. My question is why don’t we dye beer for Easter? There is green beer for St. Pattys, but a holiday associated with coloring Easter eggs hasn’t yielded regular pastel beers?

To borrow the concept from @liteon163 : Tis the season. And how do you say season in French: saison.

I will be enjoying my homebrewed Saison beers for Easter.

    Cheers!

Agree, a saison is perfect for Easter Dinner with family.

Not sure I have thought about it, but if asked, I’d choose Old Rasputin

I think the answer is obvious: Zombie Dust is the beer for Zombie Jesus Day.

I just hope the beer stores behave like the regular stores; put chocolate beers on sale the day after. This is the last candy holiday until October, and I need to stock up.

I almost always have at least one corked 750ml of something Belgian. Duvel, Chimay, something along those lines.
I got the Chimay 175 Anniversary, but that's getting drunk the weekend before Easter with my old college/brewing Bestie Bud, along with the Lindeman's Cuvée de l'Amitié Gueze. I'll have to replenish my stash after he leaves.
Gotta share good beer with great friends.

I don’t celebrate Easter but if I did, it would probably be Orval. And it might be anyway.

I think Moinette Brune would be perfect with a leg of lamb, with lots of garlic and herbs. Haven't seen it in forever, though.
