Hop Butcher Broken Nose (7.0% canned 2/25/2026):
A WCIPA from Chicago with Nectaron and Nelson for flavors of orange, stonefruit, berries, and pine.

A WCIPA from Hop Butcher. Finally trying this from @brewskis post yesterday. Nectaron and Nelson make a nice combo with some more new school stonefruit from Nectaron and grape/berries from Nelson, all while having that classic clean malt and bitter pine you want in a west-coast IPA. . The drinkability here in superb. It's not quite your traditional WCIPA, but I can get behind these flavors and the evolution of WCIPA hops.

A new Tree House hazy DIPA called Shiny featuring 3 interesting hops, Nelson, Paradisi and Manilita. I just tried an experimental IPA on draft at Trillium with Manilita hops in it too that had a crazy good red berry almost red currant or raspberry taste with dank resinous pine, almost like Mosaic but with red berry instead of blueberry, and I get that flavor in here too with some crisp Nelson grape, gooseberry and an unusual vanilla cream note that is nice as well. Real interesting aromatics, and the reason why I snatched this was because of the interesting hop blend. Nelson I know, now Manilita I am a fan of, and Paradisi might not be so shabby either. Another great NEIPA from one of the stalwarts. Cheers everyone!

Glad to have picked up a (final?) six pack of this. Probably the beer I’ve consumed the most of, besides Trumer Pils. Definitely one of my first “wow” beers. :beers:

I first tried this beer in probly 1988. There used to be a kick-ass bar in Philly called Khyber Pass. That's where I had it 1st. I knew I loved right then & there. A few times since then and am now stoked that it is sold closer to home. :beers:

We finally got our dose of spring. 72° currently.
One of, if not the best Beer'd brew. Formerly known as Hobbit Juice. Single hopped with Nelson. A real gem. @TheIPAHunter knows this one. [IMG]

Right along here ba. 120 minute ipa, iipa, dogfish head. I’m sorry-trying to be optimistic- but this is syrupy-sloppy barley wine. Price points are insane- I’m lucky to be able to grab a single. Not worth it,
    [IMG]
no bottle date or vintage. Thanks dogfish head,
