Good day BAs! Finally getting to my breakfast beer while my luncheon spring rolls heat up - typical PA summer day - raining and chilly!

Hey everyone - first day where it's warmer outside than inside. Cheers!

 

Trying this new West Coast style DIPA with Citra & Mosaic hops from Trillium called Rabbit - the Club. Actually really good and now I’m debating if it’s worth just drinking their WCIPAs or still buying beers from the store at this point… Crisp, refreshing, slightly bitter, dank resinous earthy pine notes with blueberry, nectarine, candied peach, red grapefruit and some tropical fruit notes like guava, pineapple, mango, etc. I’ve tried a couple WCIPAs in the past from them, this is my first from their new Dashboard series in cans. At 8% abv and this amount of hops this is easily comparable to the likes of Lawson’s and The Alchemist, and could even be the local answer to Pliny around here, though this seems a bit more unfiltered and slightly foggy hazy than PtE is. Another great beer from these guys like usual, and without the muddled juiciness this might even hold up a little bit better over time. Really satisfied with this one. Cheers everyone!

Good afternoon, all! Out running some errands today and stopped for lunch at Wilbo, a burger joint in downtown Cedar Falls, IA. No taps, but they have a great selection of canned and bottled craft beers. This is NA Ruthie, a non-alcoholic golden from Exile Brewing, Des Moines. Burger & fried pickle spears coming up. Cheers!

Drinking a Tipico Italian Pilsner now from Trillium. First time with this, I am familiar with their original Pilsner, this drinks similar to that with a bit more grapefruit citrus and herbal earthy hop flavor. Big Sterling hop notes, pungent with black pepper spice, zesty lemony grapefruit, and herbal earthy grassy hops laying over the pale bready crackery Pilsner malt base. Pretty nice and refreshing on this warm day. Cheers all!
