    Good morning ladies and gents, and welcome to April. I'm enjoying Hellraiser Kölsch from June Lake Brewing in Calif.

    Aromatic with greens and a hit of citrus. Spritzy and sudsy mouthfeel. Pleasant grainy taste, mellow with malt. Just a slight astringent note amid the fruit hop flavors. Bright but not acidic, in fact the aftertaste is more like cereal in a nice way. This is just the right balance of flavors and sensations for a light beer.

    Hello, everyone!

    This beer came back with me from Thailand. It has had a nice home in my fridge for the last three months.

    It looks beautiful. It smells like an American Light Lager, and it has a pleasant mouthfeel. But by God, it's awful! Alcoholic solvent, oxidised corn, stale peanuts. I definitely need to wash it down with some whiskey.

    Luckily, I brewed today, so I'm still on a roll!

    I predict a few of these mixed 12 packs in my future. Double dry hopped Torpedo plus rye Torpedo plus Torpedo equals good times. The atomic Torpedo is not my favorite, but it has it's place. Cheers all!
