Dyngus Day is a Polish-American tradition and a HUUUUGE deal where I live in Northern Indy, so when I saw this Polish lager at my local, I had to grab it.

I’m glad I did because it’s very good - lots of spicy herbal hops and floral hops balanced by bready malt notes. Absolutely love it.

BeerAdvocate has a long‑standing auto‑moderation filter that blocks words commonly used as insults, political jabs, or flame‑bait. Even if a word isn’t a profanity, if it’s frequently used to start fights, it gets added to the filter list.

“S n o w f l a k e” became one of those words because:

-It’s widely used as a political insult
-It often triggers arguments
-It shows up in culture‑war flame wars
-BA tries to keep the forum beer‑focused and avoid political derailments

So the software automatically replaces it with asterisks — even in harmless contexts.

This is the same reason BA censors:

-Certain political terms
-Certain slang insults
-Some culture‑war vocabulary
-A few surprisingly mild words that historically caused drama

It’s not personal, and it’s not targeted at you — it’s just the forum’s filter list.
