These are fucking addictive. We went to aldi this week and they had it in the seasonal aisle, I also ate a Cream egg tonight. I had 2 leftover Big Doubles for dinner: Cook Out Style and Out West Style


Sycamore Honeysuckle Summer Ale. Canned 02/04/2025. foamy opening. Lasting fluffy head and a lot of streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas of lemongrass, pear, red apple, honey, flowers, herbal, grass, yeast earthiness. Clean but muted aromas. Taste of lemongrass, pear, red apple, honey, flowers, white bread, pepper, pine, wood, herbal, grass, yeast earthiness. Light-medium pine, herbal, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light body, crisp/clean/refreshing finishing. Light grain and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel, finishing nearly bone dry surprisingly quickly. Very drinkable American Blonde ale, and not overly yeasty; very clean hop/spice flavors. Spot on style. 3.98/5

I was up early also today prepping for company tomorrow

 

Fed my friends pets while he's oot. Such loving critters (the pets) and was surprised to have a smooth 50 mi drive. A complex way to enjoy some BA beer swap time earlier. I look frwd to rolling out some new brews and maybe next time we'll get a few more Advocates to cluster. A slew of fine brews to enjoy randomly. There's some weird stuff going on everywhere so, hopefully my post will show up and not be censored randomly by a robot. Hints of winter. Looking outside I see *********s, rain and sleet. I am enjoying an ice cold beer watching *********s go sideways. The beer is Yuengling and the *********s are getting bigger. Cheers!

Sadly, I think you are correct.

 

This was part of mixed 6 of BA from these guys. This one was probably added so they can shift the rest of the Wood Baron, which was not up to their standards IMHO.
