    Bergs of a Feather, a Hoppy Black Lager from Faction Brewing in Calif.

    Decent aroma of grain and grass. Sudsy and mouth filling with foam. Dark roasted malt flavors but not charred. Modest hoppy bitterness. Flavors of alfalfa, cereal, and dark caramel. Not very sweet but malty. Hints of coffee and chocolate in the aftertaste. Dated 02/20/25, a year old! Seems to have lasted fine.
