Tuesday. Another Thriving Metropolis.
Had to cancel plans for Tigerclaw 50k cuz this PF isn't getting any better and yeahhh... I'm a bit down. But hey at least there's beer here at the end of the world!

Mortalis Zeus (8.0% canned 1/26/26): A NEIPA from NY with flavors of orange, lime, daiquiri, pineapple, mango skins.

This is Mortalis so it's obviously at the top level game. Just not my favorite from them. When Other Half, Phase Three, Mortalis, Toppling Goliath, and BlackStack are on the menu the bar is set high. Great IPA, but I thought below average for Mortalis. It's a great beer, but crucify me.

More beer fridge cleanup, I picked up this excellent doppelbock on a trip to Wisconsin six months ago, and it’s still drinking exceptionally well. New Glarus rocks.
