Heady Topper for dessert ..



Still eating leftover ham. I sauteed it, one of my favorite ways to eat it - and served with some roasted asparagus and red potato salad. I like lots of pepper

 

My daughter gifted it to me a few Xmas's ago. Not sure where she got it, but I know you upload a picture and they make it off of the picture. She said it was pretty pricey - cheers!!

Celebration holds up well IMO. I just drank my last one a few days ago out of the can. How's it holding up from the bottle? Looking at the head, I'll bet it's still great.

Covert Artisan/White Elm collab Team Lift Old Ale, 12% ABV. This is a cuvée of a BBA Stout, a BA Belgian Dark Strong, and a Cognac BA English Barleywine, and lastly was conditioned in Rye Barrels. I rated this 4.58 in November. I've had the Stout and Barleywine component beers before.

My son and I are enjoying Elk River Brewing's Bailey's Black IPA I was gifted.

 

Good evening BAs! Today was the dentist, and all is good. Thereafter, a full day of chores and some packing. First beer of the day - Head Hunter:



My favorite “I can buy it here” IPA. I picked up a fresh 12 yesterday.

Finally, it poured rain all last night and this morning (we needed more!). Still kinda raining, so we’ll stay indoors for the duration. Cheers from “Sunshine City” y’all!

 

Delicious Budweiser Zero again – this time with an ANTELOPE meat stick!

Bud Zero is eternally refreshing, the perfect diet brew. Today’s Antelope treat is another one of those Deer-Elk sorta animals and because of that, the taste is fantastic. I see this one is also a blend of Antelope (Antelope being the primary), Beef and Pork. If Antelope is anything like Deer meat, that would explain a lot. Deer needs some pork fat blended in because it is so lean. My bet is Antelope needs it to.

I was looking up IBUs the other day trying to determine the IBU, if any for Bud Zero. It’s unpublished, so whatever it is, you can bet it is low. I did some low ABV brewing once, and the procedure I was following was to brew the batch regular strength, ferment it, and then water it down on the back end. I’m sure anything like that would drop the IBU’s along with all else – IBU, ABV, flavor – everything!

Anyway, great diet beer and great ANTELOPE!

Another one of these. My previous post indicated that it has been a long time since I have had this one. That part is true. Thing is that this IPA is Strange & Eternal3 which I never had. That said, it is an excellent IPA.
