It’s definetly a treehouse heavy list….that being said…..they’re still making some of the best haze out there imo
104 out of the 250. But I’ve had none of the current top 9. As long as CBS continues to get released every few years, And I can score an assortment of beers / styles from HF and Tree House, that would keep me very content.
Hadn't looked at this list in a looooong time. Still at 45, with only one of the top 10 (Heady). A few more I know I've had tasters of, but didn't review/rate. Given that most of the top beers are now hyped Murkbombs and Diabeetus stouts, I doubt I'll get to many more of them.
I'm pretty sure my Fourteen FIDY Death By Coconut would easily make this list if it was an actual beer. Pour two ounces of Stoli Chocolat Kokonut vodka into a large snifter, top it with a can of Ten FIDY, and Bob's yer uncle. You're welcome.
I don’t disagree. I've contributed to the inflated ratings. I was a slave to FOMO and hype for a long time and every Tree House or Trillium beer was a 4.75 at minimum. Likely wouldn't rate them the same now, but I still love them and consider them amazing beers. Well, Tree House at least. Haven't had anything good from Trillium in years.
Just for fun… looking at the top 250 I’ve got 218. Aside from DB Assassin, most of what I’m missing are oddballs I wouldn’t spend effort chasing. I have 95 out of the top 100.
It's weird and more than a little sad how heavily the ratings on this site skew to imperial stouts and all things hazy. There are over 90 stouts in the top 250, and zero pilsners. That ain't right.
Welp here's #250! Only took 10years or so. On to the next list... @Bhubbard34 should be joining the club very soon
Finally slayed my whale last weekend. Toppling Goliath KBBS, my first 5.0 rated beer. I've reviewed forty on the list, but not really chasing the 250.
Thanks! Given all the hype, I thought that I might be disappointed like a few other reviewers have been, but it's really a well made beer. While it's now listed as an Imperial Pastry Stout, it's not cloying.
yeah, looking at top beers in MA is also depressing because it's so dominated by a couple breweries and it's hard to see who else is doing good things. i have a lot of things to say about tree house even though i generally like them that i will not say here but have probably said in the TH thread in the NE forum.
