What beer are you drinking now? #4921

Actually at roughly €4 each, as an import, it's not too bad on price. This is really nice craft beer.

 

Starting today with a Tree House - Land Of The Long White Cloud, a hazy DIPA with Peacharine hops. Big notes of fresh peaches, nectarine, mango, pineapple, orange citrus, grapefruit, lime, and spicy dank floral pine. Cheers all!

Oh. That previous Imp Stout was great but it's time to get light and have this Grain Belt Premium

 

The Macedonian Microbrewery - Johnnies' Beer Lager

Yet another of Greece's microbreweries popping out nice lagers.


Earlier stroll through downtown Thessaloniki

 

Fo sho! I need a splash. That Stout was a 2 hr+ glass for me. Very sweet, (might work with soft swirl vanilla ice cream as a BA Float instead of a Flight) with heavy viscosity and thick chocolate "lost at sea 'til we latched onto it straight out of the Kraken's death-crush and brought 'er ashore" delicate pirate nautical interior tastes... Arrrg!

 

Today, it's rainy and cool, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae are happily curious regarding the new brews this day presents: First, with Sundae, my second beer from Delirium Tremens Canada (via Melle, Belgium's Delirium-Huyghe Brewery)--their 8.5% Nocturnum Belgian Strong Dark Ale (sorry that it's upside down)...

Tree House Shiny, a hazy DIPA with Nelson, Paradisi and Manilita hops. Big juicy notes of crisp white grape, gooseberries, red currant, red berries, lychee, vanilla cream, papaya, tropical fruit, citrus and dank resinous earthy pine notes. Real interesting and impressive hop combo imo. Cheers all!
