Been letting this one warm up through the day. Tree House - Smooth, Julius IPA w/ banana puree. Interesting creamy banana custard taste pairing with the soft tropical and citrus flavors in the base beer. Something a bit different. Cheers everyone!

Offshoot Relax 9th anniversary beer . Not impressed but will finish . Semi flat ( initial cap was gone in seconds) and dull in hops . The Bruery did not want to make hazy’s , not sure if Offshoot does . Maybe a bad can.

Just started off NBW, I took a nap all afternoon after staying up all night again. Need to finish The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein, I have a bunch of huge books to read in the next 5 days.

Our litter of kittens is 5 weeks old as of Wednesday, and getting very active running around the upstairs rooms


Got this in an IP trade in Green Bay last summer from @DoctorZombies . Big Timber Porter. Best before date of 9/20/2025. Opaque dark brown/black color, very foamy tan head with solid retention and light spotty soapy lacing. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, dark/brown bread/crust, toast, biscuit, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, herbal, grass, and light smoke/charcoal. Taste follows with big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, dark/brown bread/crust, toast, biscuit, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, herbal, grass, wood, peppercorn, pine, and light smoke/charcoal. Light-medium pine, herbal, woody, roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced creamy/bready malt, sticky hop, and chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lingering bitter dryness with no cloying/acrid/astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 6.5% ABV. Wonderfully rich roasted and biscuit malt complexity, and balanced earthy hops. Reminds me of other American Porters I have like Edmund Fitzgerald. Spot on style. 4.2/5

That's awesome Mike and very important!! So many kids in single parent homes that may not be able to pass down the basic skills to their kids. Pat McNamara, a retired Delta Force operator started his series for kids about 6-7 years ago. I'm sure plenty of adults have learned from his videos too. That's a very noble undertaking!!!
