Is anyone else following the really weird relaunch Exhibit ‘A’ is doing on socials? It seems like they’re going for noir vibes with a ton of AI slop for both visuals and messaging. The can “art” is terrible.

I pretty much wrote them off after they pushed out Matthew Steinberg and ditched Framingham, but this trainwreck has been pretty entertaining. In an edition to being dunked on for the awful AI, they’re also being called out for posting old BA reviews for their beers even though they’re all brand new recipes (which until now I hadn’t heard was the case).

Not really following closely. Like you, wrote them off, so not really interested in whatever disaster job is going on.

it's getting weird. .. it was already a bizarre case of a brewery turning into distributor-owned intellectual property. Noticed the rebrand a few days ago - not a good look. They at least inherited good graphic design. I'll be watching closely with morbid curiosity. They're also distilling liquor in that space (a similar move in which a boston distillery was purchased and moved to western MA). I saw a gazette article about it opening to the public soon...maybe: https://gazettenet.com/2026/04/06/williamsburg-tavern-revival-eyed-by-memorial-day/

Should add last year's thread for context: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/exhibit-a-brewing-company-2025-soooo-whats-up.679973/

You blew it, go back to finance or video games or something.

They literally ripped of Salt and Oak and brought it to life.

wait, I lost track. Matt Steinberg was the owner and brewmaster of Exhibit A, right? How'd he get pushed out of the business?
I know he wanted to move the brewery because he lived out that way, but i kind of missed a bunch of memos, apparantly, after they left.

I'll probably end up checking this place out if they're (still) functioning by this summer, as it's 5 minutes from where some family lives. It's too bad it seems like such a mangled situation, as the property is a great one, and if you're going to compete with a Tree House saturated region, you're going to need something other than just "we make hazy ipa," and having a beautiful, historic, property that can function as a true tavern and gathering space might just be one of the ways to do that.

Anyway, it's a bit of a double-whammy for that area. Drawing Board Brewing Company in Florence was meant to move locations to where Pizza Factory used to be and according to a social media post, the owner of the new property backed out and so now they're homeless.

We'll see what comes out of all this, but it's not too inspiring right now for those that want to see smaller breweries succeed.

it's wild that a distributor can partially own a brewery. It's at least not in the spirit of 3-tier...

Oh it gets even better, pretty sure the same family also owns the Marty's Fine Wines stores.

All of this feels like a deterrent to me wanting to revisit them again. It just feels weird and odd.

Same family that owns Atlantic, also also owns Garden Wonders cannabis in Millville, MA.

In case anyone was wondering how diversified they are.

They are getting close to opening the taproom in Williamsburg. The pics look pretty good, truth be told. They dropped a bunch of pics on IG. I know most folks here aren’t interested, but I thought another taproom opening was worth mentioning.
