I read the book as a young lad. It was horrible. And yes what a rotten plot. The paperback was even worse than the movie (simply dull) plus the book had that 70s smell...and then I read Jaws by Peter Benchley.

 

Picked up this SN seasonal earlier today as well. The only thing missing is....well, summer. Hey-oh. Well, it's gonna be in the 70s here tomorrow so maybe we're inching closer anyway. Cheers all.
