GG with @GreenBayBA son, It was a pretty even match on piece captures and material value. In the end I got a back rank mate with my queen pinning on his Rook. I guess my 1000s of puzzle solvings are worth something. I haven't played a full game in a couple years. I only made 1 mistake.

New Belgium imperial Voodoo Ranger to start off the evening. strong pine, resin, and citrus rind hop notes balanced by a solid caramel/bready malt backbone. Great old school feeling DIPA. There is no voodoo ranger I didn't like.

A top band I never got to see, honestly never even remember them coming through town. I have seen Firehose a bunch of times. My wife helped carry George’s drums into a show in Ohio and got in for free. This is from one of the best albums made. Just an amazing band.
