If this is my final beer of the weekend, it will still line up as an excellent beer weekend. This drinks more like a TIPA than an American Barleywine, with the heavy hops presence consistent with expectations but the lack of malt unexpected. Pine and citrus, the first time I recall this in a barleywine, but do recall and love it with several of my favorite IPAs over the years. Not a bad beer to end the weekend then Jason.
    Howdy dudes and dudettes!

Drinking Trappistes Rochefort 10. Timeless classic, for roughly three bucks/euros here. Worth each and every penny’s.

Yes @Shanex it's mainly a dry and dusty race, bit of random mud from yesterday's rain. Man, all the favorites have had mechanicals and are fighting back. BCBS for the last 74 km.

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for opening the bar!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Coffee Break from The Smiling Moose. 16 fl oz can, purchased 02/04/26 from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. $ 4.75/$ 0.397/fl oz. In reefer at distributor, stored at 40 degrees F at home. Reviewed 12/04/26, review 3724.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Uncredited label art. Tastes a bit like McDonald’s Iced Coffee – OK but nothing exciting.
Rating 3.75, rDev 0% (First Review)

The moose drawing on the label is a bit disturbing, perhaps suggesting “The Grimacing Moose” or a classier “Alces sardonicus” as alternate names for the brewery. Hopefully, there’s no tetanus neurotoxin present. Makes me think of a potential song’s first line “Moose rictus, wider than a mile”.
