Watching 'ma boyz (Dodgers) take on Texas right now. @cjgiant I've been a die-hard fan since 3rd grade and am not one of these "joiners" who decides they're the flavor-of-the-month type of fan. Speaking of which, does anyone remember when people would wait in line every year for this release? Now? It doesn't get any love. Still a great beer.

Happy Sunday BA. I have been up all night YET AGAIN. I finished The Devil's Chessboard by David Talbot in one night. 4.25/5 Incredibly good investigative journalism. Basically the Biography of Allen Dulles entwined with the CIA doing bad things with bad people in foreign affairs. Was meaning to read a book about the DRC and this covers the Lumumba assassination. Also the climax is the warren comission and inaccuracies. Very slow and detailed account. 25 hours. Now starting Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. 41 hours. This is my 5th Follett book after Jackdaws, hornet flight, code to zero, fall of giants, and winter of the world marathon read goodreads badge.
I got a bunch of new library cards. My ohio cell phone number gets me ODL and CLEVNET has even more books.


We came out to kiosco for Mexican and a big wicked weed Pernicious. My wife got a raspberry margarita.

Oh, I get it. I just know that the Phillies were a big part of my Dad and Mom's family every time I visited back in the... well, they've won their first World Series since.

And I am not a Phillies fan, but I did get sucked into to family's choice, especially since the Red Sox never played the Phillies (back then).

My All-Bagel and cheddar sourdough loaf for the week. Paired with some fried eggs and sausage patties for breakfast sandwiches. It's amazing. I nibbled on a lot of this too early because I'm recovering from my run this morning. Did a 10-miler in a thunderstorm this morning. Everything was soaked. Chafing. Coughing. The works. Also, may be under the weather with a virus, possibly COVID. Thought it was allergies, but a cough I can't shake, and can't taste as well today. Did I mention this Anti-Hero?... I know it's fantastic, because ill or not, it tastes like bitter pine needles.

Chocolate from the cocoa nibs. Not much coconut, not much coffee. Delicious and disappointing. Not sweet with lots of bakers chocolate. Solid. Cheers y’all!
