Since this seems to be the way things are going...

I just cracked a 2015 Barrel Aged Bigfoot. Low (no) carb, muted barrel, but still a decent enough brew.

kind of light feeling and creamy tasting, berries and tangerine notes. I can dig it.

There ain't much, and the beers are spoken for by the folks who are stuck dealing with my mortal remains, but sure, you can have the rest. I hope you wear 3-4XL clothes.

Not about driving or drinking, I was thinking more about your line, "riveting competition," which I thought was perfect under the circumstances. Like your style!

Seems Spyglass is on your radar for greatness. Never seen that here but for a collab. Cheers and enjoy!

One more for tonight-finishing big. Founders KBS Caramel. Sweet caramel on the nose, roasty bitter coffee and muted sweetness flavor. Touch of barrel way in the background. Well put together brew. Cheers!

My last pop this weekend: Workman's Friend, a Porter from 2nd Favor Brewing. This may be the best American Porter I've ever drank. I'm blown away and already plan to buy more cans.

Most appropriate tune from Workingman's Dead. Long live Pigpen!

Chambo disapproves. Her favorite tune from that album is Dire Wolf. No surprises there. Cheers and have a great week, everyone.

2023 Pelican Mother Of All Storms. Alcohol is crazy hot up front, almost distracting. Sipping is always the way, but even moreso like this. Any amount of time cellaring these really brings on transmutation into light stout flavors, and a very wet wood barrel presence. I think fresh is best for English type sweetness, but let them sit if you want a cold winter night’s warmer. Fremont B5K, if I had one, would have been the flavor profile I was looking for. That 2017 GI BCBW from @Resistance88 is still in my special beer fridge. I guess I’m being bitchy about great beer options.
