Wow, this tune is really excellent ... really well done! I really dug the Sitar part

The idea was born a few years ago during breakfast at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia. Our friend and drummer, Peter Bunetta, introduced me to Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers and we talked about taking "Listen to the Music" around the world. We started the track with an acoustic guitar demo played to a click track and then added bass from Colombia, tablas and veena from India, and then headed to the Redwood Forest in Northern California to record and film Tom Johnston live outside. We then recorded and filmed Patrick Simmons and John McFee playing along to the track in a park in San Diego. The journey then continued throughout North and South America, Europe, The Middle East, Asia, and Africa. This final version features 30 musicians from 12 countries united through their love of music.

I didn't bring too many beers with me from the Balkans, and what I brought will be saved for an upcoming share (@thebeers, @jmdrpi and crew, think along the lines of "Bulgaria's Treehouse). Exciting, I know.

The above beer is from one of my favorite Greek producers, who had the guts to attempt a Dubbel. They named the beer The Duchess of Plaisance, after a French noblewoman (coincidentally born in Philly) who became quite famous in Greece in the 1800s.

It's a pretty good Dubbel, and my only criticism is that I wish the body was fuller.

Tree House - Wafflebanger DIPA w/ maple syrup and Mosaic hops now before cooking up some dinner. Interesting dessert/pastry IPA vibes here with dark amber maple syrup, whipped cream, and dank resinous blueberry and tropical citrusy fruit notes. Cheers!

Took advantage of the free shipping from Half Time for "Beer Day" and picked up some beers that aren't usually available to me including a mixed 12pack of Baltic Porters from Jack's Abby. This is delicious.

 

Having another one of the Pale Ales ...



Another great tune from Playing For Change - Everyday People. I love what they're doing and they bring a new freshness and perspective to these tunes. This is excellent as well.

 

Another work beer, but not a pointless meeting beer. I was just thirsty.

Probably left it in the fridge too long, most of the rye bite is gone. But still tasty and quite thirst quenching.

Third Space Maibock (6.8%): A Maibock from Wisconsin with flavors of honeyflower, wheat, bread.

Not my favorite style, but Third Space does this well. Some light floral notes to balance the honey. Had to have at least one of these during the Spring time.

 

That looks like a great brew. I'm getting awful thirsty now.
