From lunch yesterday. 9/10 times I get fajitas, but this was a Texanas Taco Salad :yum:

State of Brewing Shuteye Peak Pale Ale from Aldi. APA for under $14 a 12 pack. Run of the mill Chinook and Fuggles tasting pale, it's as resinous as an IPA, but very enjoyable. Would get another pack, but the Great Pines IPA would be prefered over this one.

Perfect! Release all that nasty carbonation. I used to pour gingerly until I saw videos that one wants to hard pour for best results. Here’s to high heads!

I am so willing to pay the cost. That is not the issue.

@beergoot - I have the chimney sweep coming by Wednesday morning, and a cord of seasoned oak being dropped off in the afternoon. Tells me it's really primo wood - $300 a cord.

I'm thinking of replacing my fireplace insert (I bought in 1994) with a newer one. I'll grab the measurements when he pulls my existing one out. I got it from a woman I used to work with at Digital Equipment - they were moving to Florida. I asked what they wanted and she said $150 and I said sold  It was made by United States Steel Corporation - USS Steel.

If my chimney guy tells me it's fine, I'll continue using it - I do need to get a new fire grate for it though, the last one pretty much disintegrated. Cheers and thank you for the inspiration!

Non beer related, but do headphone ear surrounds replacements are a thing? I have some Beats that are rough from drumming and sweating, so a fabric sounds ideal.

I love Angine de Potrine - really fresh and interesting music. And you being a fellow musician, you can appreciate what he's doing with all the interactive loops - really clever stuff.

They're deserving of the spotlight. Cheers to you and Julia my friend!

If I saw that inside of 60 days I would snag in a heartbeat. I purchased many bombers over the years. This is my closer. Sleep well all.[IMG]

Daughter took me to my cataract appointment this morning even though I said it wasn’t necessary. Anyway, she dropped off some venison meatballs. Not sure why but she always includes vegetables.

Had one of these left so …

Most headset manufacturers sell replacement ear surrounds, they do wear out. Contact the manufacturer if you can. @barneyrubble might weigh in here, he recommended some killer replacement ear pads for my Sennheiser headphones I use for mixing music. He knows his stuff!

$300 for a face cord or full cord? If a face, what kind of premium wood is that? I’ll start growing it. If it’s black locust, I’m already growing it. It’s crazy fast growth around here. Actually one of the only few things this escarpment soil grows well natively. That and anything poisonous. Seriously, poison ivy, nightshade, some other huge whackass thing I’ve never seen before, sumac, giant hogweed… I digress.

Full cord, and usually slightly over. It's all white and red oak. This guy leans on the heavier side which is why I like him, and he cuts it to the length you need.
