Lake Placid Brewing 49'er Hazy IPA , happy for a hazy IPA that doesn't look like a grapefruit milkshake lol. A really good beer , part of the Camp Collection series with Ridge Runner IPA and Cascade Pils.

Made a slow roasted Bell & Evans chicken for dinner. Their chicken is definitely a cut above, and it's noticeable in taste and tenderness.



Almost twilight ..

 

I was in Wisconsin yesterday and this morning for work, and picked up a New Glarus mix pack that included this beer. It’s yet another example of New Glarus’ prowess across any style imaginable. Really well done, IMHO.

 

Beautiful day around these parts today, and too nice not to enjoy a beer in the backyard. My last of this tasty one from Widowmaker

Strange & Eternal. An IPA brewed by Veil. This is a really good one.

Anybody have an idea why if I put the washing machine on hot water it makes a loud vibration noise in the walls especially behind the hot water heater. It doesn’t do it when I do a cold wash. It sometimes does it when I use the sheets/bulky setting even using the cold water. Washing machine issue or waterline issue? Thanks for any help you can provide.

 

I an attest to that. I have an innate ability to break stuff.

Sounds like water hammer. You might need a plumber, or if you can, reduce the water flow at the valve.

Interesting/complicated desert to take in my dumb opinion. Pretty normal decent barrel but I get a big powder sugar flavor that seems to overpower everything. My least favorite variant to date,
