What beer are you drinking now? #4925

That's awesome! Got mine in a couple weeks. I'm 2 BP meds and I'd love to get off at least one of them. Weight is high. I need to lose about 15 pounds.

 

Harbor Brewing Roam 2025, a sessionable 13% bourbon and rum barrel-aged stout. I liked last year's version better, I'm not much of rum guy.

 

That's awesome Mike - especially being halted on the medication. You're doing the right thing my friend!!

 

One more beer here tonight, Guinness Extra Stout near room temp and drinking mighty fine per usual. A little bit lighter take than the Foreign Extra which is my preference taste wise, this still drinks with some heft though. Cheers everybody!

Test B indicated that hotter water caused a significant increase in the vibration. Tried test C. I could not tell which line was for hot water or cold water. One was only partially on so I turned them both off (clockwise?) then turned them both all the way on (counter clockwise?).

Not going to test it tonight in case I royally screwed up something but will try to see what happens tomorrow.

I am on three BP meds and would like to get off some. Weight is not my problem. I have had high BP for 60 years. You name the BP med and I have taken it. Failed my freshman football physical at age 14 because of it. Now, it gets crazy high whenever any medical personnel gets close to me.

 

Outstanding! I do a full blood panel every year in September. The one i dread is the PSA, so far so good at 2.0 - 2.4 last 5 years .

Drinking a Foster - Thai Barleywine



15% ABV
Barleywine aged exclusively in rum barrels for 27 months before conditioning it on generous portions of wild Thai bananas and freshly toasted coconut. The resulting beer has a heavy body and tastes of overripe, caramelized banana, toffee-like spiced rum, rich dark fruits, and sweetened coconut.

 

Very nice!
