Kirby Krackle from Hellbent Brewing in Seattle-- tasted it in April last year and trying again with the 2026 version. Aroma is pungent; I'd call it fruit cake. This is very sweet and also rather acidic. Not like a New England IPA, but rather eye opening. Flavors of orange peel and grapefruit peel dialed way up. The fruit is so massive it ought to be a DIPA and with just a slight increase in alcohol it would be. I would have to conclude I am not a Cryo fan when it's used apparently as a single hop, whatever the actual hop may be.
