This Troegs Double Perpetual IPA is a much welcomed malt bomb with a firmly bitter back end in a world of murky, juicy IPA wannabes. Cheers!
Here's a common brewery in the northwest, Pelican Brewing, but they have a delicious new "regular" IPA called Flock Party. Very aromatic with lime and grapefruit. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue. There is a slight malty sweetness which is quite welcome with all the tangy fruit. Really bold citrus flavor but the bitterness is quite moderate. This is really a better than average American classic IPA. Hugely hoppy but full of aromatics from start to finish. Brewed with Two-Row malt, and Bravo, Centennial, and Strata hops.
Heady last night at dinner I’m not sure if I took an out-of-focus picture, this is because it’s really a hazy IPA or that was my condition since this was my third DIPA of the night
