Have a good Sunday, glad to have the new wall A/C upstairs since Friday, so the bedroom is finally comfortable for the summer. It was in the humid 80s last week. Have a great day of rest y'all.

I slept in the afternoon again, then listened to more of The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King after I woke up at like 11PM. Still 4.5/5. One of the best narrations I have heard from his books. Looks like I'll be looking for more books narrated by Bronson Pinchot.

Came downstairs to charge my headphones in the early morning to discover the Kittens can now jump the gap from the couch to my desk. Need to put all the cables away now. Also my Logitech Z-2300 from 2007 is being repurposed as the TV sound system. Just bought a cheap optical to analog DAC off the internet for the 3.5 mm jack. TIL my Samsung 55" Q7DA has a jack for diagnostics but not audio.

Samurai Cop was on the Rifftrax channel, so Midnight and Skittles were watching TV for a bit


Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. 11/1/2016 bottling. Straight pour down the center, head lasted for about 2 seconds. A bit of goopy protein bits at the bottom. Nose is of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark bread, char, and ethanol. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, charcoal, wood, dark bread/crust, molasses, toast, nuttiness, herbal, grass, peppercorn, light pine/dark fruit, and yeast earthiness. Light-medium herbal/woody/charred bitterness and ethanol spiciness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; lingering sticky/resinous hop, chalky roast, and spicy alcohol dryness. As with other 18% stouts like the Bruery does a lot, the alcohol hurts the body. No cloying/acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. I reviewed in 2014 with a 2010 bottle. Still right around 4.2/5 IMO

Anyone else seeing the following error for YouTube videos?



I see it on every post with a YouTube link - it was fine last night. I confirmed the same behavior on my phone as well. Also tried another browser, same thing. Was there some sort of change made on BA that broke this? @Todd

The error indicates that the embedded video player failed to load.

The URL is not the cause of the problem.

• It’s simply YouTube reporting that the embedded player failed to initialize.
• The underlying issue is still the Error 153 configuration failure, which is usually caused by missing referrer/origin headers in old forum embeds.

 

I finally got the whole litter in one shot without mama. Value City Furniture couch from 2011, I bought in Michigan. Every cat in the house loves it, just haven't seen all 10 on there.


Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA from the Mix 12 pack I got last weekend. Tasting classic, juicy, dank, and earthy hops balanced by a toasted malt backbone. Canned 2/16/26. I need to buy them more often. Mills River distro has fresh beer all the time on the shelf.

Yea I noticed it and was going to comment, but looks like it's fixed now. There was also a thing causing some postimg photos to show a "photo frame with a red X over it" and you could see the photo if you right clicked and looked at it, and it brought up the photo under a BA Cached link. Looks like @Todd might have been doing something, either way fixed pretty quickly for a Sunday when there is no one on here this damn early He has been doing a lot of updates with the notifications/email and whatnot, so great stuff! Edit: just as I post this it broke again, I am sure it'll be fine soon lol.

 

For sure, the hi-def video from the helicopters cameras is amazing....cheers!! It's currently Peacock.
